The impact that this industry will have on our world in the coming years will be enormous, and we are proud to be a small part of that impact. Our dependence on foreign resources can be eradicated in years to come if we all put the very best resources to work.
Search Methodology
There is a considerable difference between active candidates posted on the internet and passive talent currently employed by our clients’ competitors. Passive candidates statistically make for better long-term hires because:
- They are typically more successful at their occupations.
- They only move if it’s really the right move to make.
Our search process involves networking with candidates in competitive organizations and making candidates aware of better opportunities when they arise. Many of SearchPath’s candidates are people we’ve spoken with over periods of months and years. A database such as this requires constant pruning and organizing.
Industry Expertise
We are of little use to our clients if we approach a renewable energy/HVAC/packaging firm on one phone call and an insurance company on the other. These markets are who we are in contact with every day. Since we are not engineers or chemical scientists, we listen very carefully for what is needed and act accordingly.
Candidate Management
From the initial contact to the final negotiations, our job once again begins with listening. Managing expectations is crucial in identifying and qualifying a candidate, and equally so in interviewing, negotiating, and placing the candidate.
